Gomoku — play against the computer
Play five in a row against the computer or a friend on the same device.
Moves: 0
Freestyle rules: five or more stones in a row wins. Black starts. No double-three or overline restrictions. Changing mode or color starts a new game.
Computer and same-device play work without a game server. Remote multiplayer rooms are not included.
How to play
Click or tap an empty intersection to place a stone. Make an unbroken line of at least five before your opponent. The orange dot marks the last move and the winning line is highlighted. You can also navigate the board with arrow keys and place a stone with Enter or Space.
Practice at your pace
The computer looks for winning moves, blocks immediate threats and scores nearby positions. Undo takes back your last turn and the computer reply when applicable. Same-device mode undoes one stone at a time. This is a practice opponent, not a professional tournament engine.
